As AI moves beyond screens, what should the next personal AI device look like? We explored what people would actually want to wear and use every day, balancing usefulness with privacy, comfort, and social acceptability. I led user research and helped shape a privacy-first product strategy, translating the findings into three wearable concepts with distinct features, interactions, and everyday use scenarios.

My Contributions

My Contributions

User & Market Research

Led a 500-participant study to understand people's needs and attitudes toward wearables. Analyzed 100+ existing devices and emerging trends, then synthesized the findings to identify opportunities and establish design criteria.

Body Zone & Form Factor Exploration

Used bodystorming to explore where an AI device could be worn and how it might fit into everyday life. Helped evaluate 50+ concepts and narrow them to three directions based on privacy, comfort, personal style, and social acceptability.

Interaction, Experience & Design Expression

Defined each wearable’s core features and interactions, including how users would activate AI, receive responses, and control privacy. Collaborated with industrial designers to align physical form, interaction, and user experience through real-world scenarios.

Strategy & Stakeholder Presentation

Synthesized the research and design exploration into a privacy-first AI device strategy. Developed compelling concept stories and presented three wearable directions to Samsung's CFO and COO, connecting user needs with future product opportunities.
